 Rex Omar initiate Court Action against Akosua Agyepong. Legendary Musician and Board Director for GHAMRO Mr Rex Marfo popularly know as Rex Omar has initiated moves to sue Akosua Agyepong in Court for Defamatory statements made against him. In a letter spotted in the media space the Lawyers of Rex Omar have written to Akosua Agyapong demanding a Retraction and a public Apology within 14days or face him in court to substantiate her allegations. For some time now Akosua Agyapong have been moving from radio and Tv Station to station calling Rex Omar all sort of names including accusing him of stealing. The Recording Academy announced Tuesday that three new categories will be added to the awards show in 2024: best pop dance recording, best African music performance, and best alternative jazz album. In addition, two existing categories have been moved to the general field, which means that all Grammy voters can participate in selecting the winners: producer of the year, non-classical, and songwriter of the year, non-classical, the latter of which was first introduced this year. Previously, the general categories were made up solely of the “Big Four” awards: best new artist, as well as album, record, and song of the year. Grammy voters are eligible to vote in general categories, as well as up to ten categories across three genre fields — and are instructed only to vote in their area of expertise.   Ghamro is a collective society for INDIVIDUAL RIGHT OWNERS and has nothing to do with Associations, unfortunately due to Ghamro's past which is Cosga that dealt with Associations some old Musicians still believe Ghamro should be dealing with Associations and that has been a figment of their imagination till now. Fact is these Associations were used in siphoning monies from Cosga but when Ghamro came into existence that narrative changed but Akosua and some Musicians are still live in the past.
