Ghana To Export Drinking Water Soon?

Image
PC APPIAH OFORI was left sitting ALONE in the middle with his 5k MPs accusations fight for Ghana. MARTIN AMIDU abandoned his INTEGRITY fight for Ghana when Jerry passes on. PROFESSOR FRIMPONG BOATENG is Being Roasted today for fighting for Ghana against indiscriminate illegal mining(Galamsey) that's DESTROYING OUR WATERS. Is it a Crime to Fight for Ghana? or It's just impossible to fight for Ghana. Those who came in Fighting and ACTING as if Ghana was their all simply abandoned that fight after winning Power and now it's so impossible to Trust anyone who comes in the name of Saving this Country. Maybe GH can't be saved and just like KOFI WAYO we should Smoke poff poff & pass the baton to the next generation to bury that ambition. Or you say we should still KEEP HOPE ALIVE?  It's simply heartbreaking to see the Potential of Gh yet we're being swallowed by debt upon debt just because of INCOMPETENT & GREEDY Leadership from Past to Present and you wonde...

Mineral Resources; A Blessing or A Curse ~ written by Mr Enoch Agyapong

Image
Ghana is blessed with a lot of mineral resources especially Gold to the extent that it was initially called The Gold Coast. I'm not a historian and will not try to write or rewrite any history but will move straight to my issue today. Ghana has been mining Gold & other resources for over 100years and for all these years these activities were being streamlined & regulated. Ashanti Gold now Anglogold in Obuasi have been the major mining company and Newmont in Akwatia have also been the major miners of Diamond. Galamsey(illegal mining) have always been with us for all this century but have been under strict control making it quite insignificant. Until a few years back when we started seeing Chinese nationals coming into the system in the name of exploration but eventually moving to a stage where mining is being done haphazardly all over the country leading to the indiscriminate pollution of our water bodies under the supervision of our governments. Because mining was being con...

Enock Agyapong advices Artists to Sue Lookalikes impersonating them and the Media Houses Promoting them as well.

Image
If Lookalikes can buy our Mainstream Entertainment Media then our Media is VERY CHEAP. Airtime is very expensive and therefore radio and Tv is treated with RESPECT. Radio & Tv is suppose to broadcast facts & the truth, reason why you're taught its ethics before you're put on air. Radio promotes and advertises products and brands reason why slots are paid for. Kindly walk to Okay 101.7 FM and ask for the cost of doing a funeral Announcement for just 1min 4times a day and you'll understand this writeup. Artist get slots due to the nature of their work as Creatives and some even payback with performances and promotional packages. In this industry of ours before an Artist can breakthrough to become an A-list artist it takes a lot of Hardwork and illegal payments called payola. So for some people who call themselves Lookalikes of the original Artist to have easy access to these media platforms to promote themselves and subsequently jump on stages to perform the repertoir...

Current state of the Creative Arts Agency is a disincentive to the Creative Industry.

Image
The Creative Arts Agency, Ghana is an Act of Parliament(Act 1048)  and accordingly governed by Law. It is suppose to have a Board comprising of Stakeholders and government and also a Chairman & Executive Secretary appointed by the President. Strangely, that sector has been put on autopilot since it was passed into law with the President's daughter(Gyankroma Nana Akuffo Addo) controlling it like a Gadget/Toy bought for her personal use. Yes we all saw how she single handedly took Meek Mill to shoot a Music Video at the Seat of the Presidency which obviously wouldn't have happened if there was a board in place. Currently as we speak, the Ghana Tourism Authority is out with their annual report(Tourism Report 2022) and as usual the Creative Arts Agency which is also an Agency under the Ministry has nothing to show simply because it does not exist officially. Our current issue has to do with the Visit of Popular American Film Director Spike Lee to Ghana and the fact that the Cre...

VGMA is Suffering from Kwashiokor & Beri beri.

Image
This might be the last write up I'll do on the VGMAs. Undoubtedly the biggest Award scheme in Ghana which we all subscribe to annually yet we cannot overlook its deficiencies that's is causing its kwashiokor and beri beri. These diseases occur due to lack of some vitamins needed for proper and healthy growth of the Scheme. One major deficiency is not having the biggest Artist and his biggest songs nominated. They might have had issues in the past to the extent of going to court and calling some MISCREANTS but the fact still remains that the Award scheme without huge songs like ON GOD & JJC makes it Malnourished. Second key deficiency is the fact that we as a Country is known for the HIGHLIFE genre yet the Highlife Category is the weakest among all. Most of the Artist who have their songs there are not even Highlife Artist infact some are Dancehall and Hiphop Artist. The real Highlife MUSICIAN are NOT there. The biggest and most intriguing name conspicuously missing out ther...

Mr. Bernard Brown, CEO of Black Tribe Studios https://instagram.com/iambernardbrown?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=  and initiative director of Tema Black Arts Festival  https://www.facebook.com/basfestafrica?mibextid=ZbWKwL on his Facebook listed extremely interesting places in Tema back in the 90's and the early 2000's which caught the smiles of people whom have had experiences in these areas he has listed below. If you grew up or ever lived in Tema in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, you would have heard or visited some of these top hangouts in town back then. These are in no particular order of importance.  1. GRAND SPOT This was one of the go-to places for folks who love to relax to some bottles and music after the day’s hard work  work. The place was so popular that a bus stop was named after it by the people. Just pick a taxi or board trotro and say you you would alight at Grand Spot and you wouldn’t get lost.  In this enclave were also Club Felissa, Ewiase and...
