  In April 2023 Mark Okraku-Mantey told the Creative sector on Live Television that the monies for the Five(5) AMPHITHEATERS have been paid into our accounts by the world bank and that by July 2023 the Kumasi one will be completed. According to his calculation the amount for the 5 theatres should be around 3 million dollars. He stated emphatically that they'll finish all Five(5) amphitheaters by the end of 2023. Fact is he spoke in English so most of our entertainment Journalist understood him clearly. Today in 2025 not even one(1) of the said amphitheaters have been completed and so the question is WHERE IS THE WORLD BANK MONIES? Or he just Lied on TV?   Presidential Advisor on Diaspora Affairs, Kofi Okyere Darko, popularly known as KOD, has called on political appointees to prioritize service over status, urging them to remain grounded and respectful to the citizens who empower their positions. In a conversation on Rainbow Radio 92.4FM in the United Kingdom, KOD cautioned against the attitude of superiority some appointees assume once given the opportunity to serve. The Gospel music genre plays an integral role in our industry and therefore in our annual Music Awards ie TGMA which has in effect produced some great Artists of the year including Joe Mettle and Diana Hamilton. Strangely their participation in recent times have been on the decline and one wonders what the problems may be. Last year Team eternity were billed to perform but never showed up and their excuse was nothing to write home about. This year was worse when indeed they never showed up to pick any of their 3 awards on the night, I mean a group of over 10 musicians and not even one person showing up to pick an award is obviously not normal. Joe Mettle who was also in the auditorium never climbed the stage to pick any of his 2 awards on the night. The newly appointed Mayor, Hon. Ebi Bright, this afternoon led a team of engineers from the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) and The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) to commence emergency repair works on the 300-meter stretch of road, also known as the 'Akosombo Road', which forms part of the Harbour road.  This intervention brings relief to hundreds of motorists and other commuters who ply this road on a daily basis to transact business within the Harbour Enclaves. Takoradi Technical University, TTU, through its Faculty of Business Studies, has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with the Chartered Institute of Financial Investment Analysts-Ghana, CIFIA-Ghana.  The MoU is to provide professional training and certification opportunities for both staff and students pursuing accounting, banking, and finance-related programmes. The Vice Chancellor of TTU, Rev.   Hon. Ebi Bright, the newly appointed Mayor of Tema Metropolitan Assembly(TMA) has hit the ground running by reporting to work today Monday 12th May, 2025. The Mayor started her day, by holding a brief meeting with the Metropolitan Coordinating Director, Mr. John Nana Owu, after which she toured some key Departments and Units within the Central Administration.  Driven by her passion for the welfare of children, women and the marginalised, the Mayor extended her tour to the TMA Day Care Center as well as the Health Facility at Community Centre.  Other Departments visited were the Works Department, Physical Planning Department, Environmental and  Procurement Unit. Hon.Bright ended her tour at the Official Residence of the Assembly, which was rather in a very deplorable state.
