TEMA MAYOR LEADS REPAIR EFFORTS ON HARBOUR ROAD.

The newly appointed Mayor, Hon. Ebi Bright, this afternoon led a team of engineers from the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) and The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) to commence emergency repair works on the 300-meter stretch of road, also known as the 'Akosombo Road', which forms part of the Harbour road. 

This intervention brings relief to hundreds of motorists and other commuters who ply this road on a daily basis to transact business within the Harbour Enclaves. Addressing the technical group on site, 


With the effort of Mr. Anold Mensah Elavanyo, TV host, Entrepreneur and a Journalist; who advocated massively on all his social media platforms, alerting the Ministry of Roads and Highways Authority and Tema Municipal Assembly, to take stand in fixing our major and important road that leads to the Ghana Harbour Authority.

Hon. Bright hinted that drains along the remaining 2-kilometer stretch towards the Motorway roundabout will be desilted to allow for the run-off water to empty into the underground drains. 


This measure, she said, will adequately cater for the expected volumes of rainwater as we approach the peak of the rainy season.



Hon. EBI Bright ended by saying, "This is just the beginning. Together, we’ll build a better, more resilient Tema.#
