King Promise wins Artiste of the Year at 26th TGMA




King Promise has been officially crowned Artiste of the Year at the 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), held on May 10, 2025, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre. He triumphed over a competitive field that included Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, King Paluta, Joe Mettle, Kweku Smoke, and Team Eternity.

This accolade marks a significant milestone in King Promise's career, reflecting his consistent performance and impact on the Ghanaian music scene over the past year. His chart-topping hits and sold-out international tours contributed to this achievement.

In his acceptance speech, King Promise expressed gratitude to his fans, team, and family, and encouraged aspiring artists to persevere through challenges, sharing his own journey of resilience in the industry.

Stonebwoy also made history by winning the Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste award for the tenth time, cementing his legacy in the genre. King Paluta's “Aseda” was recognized as both the Most Popular Song and Best Highlife Song of the Year, while Kofi Kinaata's fifth win as Songwriter of the Year further solidified his reputation as one of Ghana's finest lyricists.
