COOK-A-THON RECORD ATTEMPT: LET'S LOOK AT IT THIS WAY... by Kofi Kyei

The cooking de3 he cooked, and it's was long. He did that without much support. This is why there was very little interest in what was an obvious delays in getting feedback from the Guinness World Record. 

I particularly didn't support him because at the time, I felt he was going to derail the effort of Chef Fela and even called on him to possibly hold on until Fela gets her record and enjoys that fame for sometime. 

Then it emerged the Fela didn't meet the required standard. There and then, I realised that I was quick in discouraging him. The principle for my disagreement hadn't changed, but hindsight thought me that things happen for a reason. 

Yesterday, I wrote a piece with the plan to post later today, using him as an example of resilience in the face of adversity and congratulating him for defying his critics to pursue a dream. The piece is ready, but usually, in such times, I try to wait. 

Then the fears startee growing that the result could be fake, then the issue of police and military invasion of the press conference. 

Today, the news out there is that the record is fake. If GhOne is lying, then I am lying on their behalf. 

Let's look at it this way, Chef Smith has no record of mental illness, he is a very sound and rounded guy who carries himself just about well. He is not daft and knows so well that he can't fake a Guinness record and get away with it.  

 And so why? 

I have a feeling that a parody Guinness Record Account could have a hand in this, he is probably dealing with fake people that he is not aware of. 

They could even be fraudsters who have been fronting without his knowledge. 

This is why I won't condemn him right now, in the internet age, eveything is possible. 

The guy seems to have been swindled by some unscrupulous people. 

Let's take it easy on him until further and better particulars emerge. 

If he has some folly in him, I don't want to believe that it is to this extent

Even Dr. UN won't attempt pulling this stunt. 

No right thinking person would use more than a week to cook and deliberately pour excess salt into it.
