Ghanaian Showbiz Industry Partly has its Gatekeepers in Nigeria - Asiwome Tei-Mati

The Ghanaian showbiz industry has its gatekeepers in Nigeria. They control what happens and decisions that must be taken in the Ghanaian Showbiz sphere.

Ghanaian are not in control. Whatever happening in the Nigerian Showbiz space is what the Ghanaian Showbiz industry wants to copy and without success

From the days of George M. Britton 's advocacy for 80% of Ghanaian music to be played on our media space because Nigeria has gone 100% with their music which is making it difficult for Ghanaian music penetrating into the Nigerian market

To Kelly Nii Lartey Mensa 's agenda for Ghana to own its new media space. As it stands, the Nigerians hold the Ghanaian algorithm breath. They decide when to allow the Ghanaian a breathing space in the new media space. Nauseating, isn't it?!?!

Fast forward, Ghanaian are forced to now fill the O2 because the Burna Boys, Davidos, Wizkids, and the Asakes all of Nigeria have filled it.

Unfortunately, it is the Ghanaian Showbiz personalities that have become tools for their agenda under the guise of a certain awakening.

If these are not gatekeeping roles by Nigerians over Ghana then I don't know what else to call it.

The best we have are gatewatchers and gatetalkers. We simply don't have gatekeepers or perhaps, we don't have gates to our Showbiz and Entertainment Industry in Ghana.

It's a free entry and exit industry: Pissing-in-pissing-out kind of industry
