We need an ultramodern Music Studio to save our POOR sound - Enock Agyepong

Artist Manager & Label Owner Mr Enock Agyepong has reiterated that Ghana needs An ultramodern Music Studio to help upgrade our sound.

In a post on Facebook he writes ;

This December in Gh the Genre of music that appealed to the foreigners was Afrobeat, which had our Nigerian brothers in Control.

A typical examples were the Afrochella & Afronation Concerts whose audience were mainly foreigners

According to Koskolee who spent 2 days there the only Gh Artist the audience vibed to was Shatta Wale which he stands to be corrected.

So, let's take it that Shatta is our standard when it comes to music but the truth is his sound quality is very weak.

Listen to Asiwaju by Ruger or any of fireboy or Remy etc and compare it to On God, Adole or any of our Standard's songs and you'll realise the vast difference.

These guys have been able to fine tune their sound to match the Chris Brown's & Drake's making these foreigners relate to it easily.

I'm on Shatta because if he is becoming our standard with regards to audience appeal and music then he should get his sound right expecially with the upcoming GOG so we compete at the Top instead of being content with what we have else it'll only continue to remain here.

Enough of the noise it's time to Work & Move Musically.

Interestingly our Nigerian brothers use most of our own Producer to engineer their songs but with the mixing and Mastering I'm yet to find out.

These guys have been able to even turn Amapiano into Afro Amapiano and making waves with it more than the original all in the name of great sound.

I know one engineer who has spent 3months trying to fix just 1 beat for these guys and the back & fourth till they get it right will blow your mind.

When Mark Okraku-Mantey suggested an ultramodern studio he met serious opposition possibly because of the way he went about it but the truth is we need an Ultramodern Music Studio urgently and if he can champion only that before leaving office it'll be a legacy that'll go a long way to upgrade the industry.

I was super excited when I heard Hammer of the Last 2 saying he is coming back and I repeat If you know you know.

Big Ups to Zapp Mallet and the Rest of our Great Engineers, it's time to save an industry.

The truth hurts but it heals.

We'll end it here and continue the rest of the communique backdoor.
