We are mobilizing One Thousand people to proudly represent Africa in our BareFoot African Parade.

WHAT IS THE BAREFOOT AFRICAN PARADE?

It the largest walkathon of people who will proudly adorn African-themed wears such as traditional wears like kente, print fabric, batakari (smock), kaftan and other African dresses and regalia. 

Will People Walk BareFoot?

Not necessarily! If someone chooses to directly connect to Mother Earth by walking bare feet, they are welcome. However participant can choose to wear any footwear as far as they feel comfortable in them. 

What’s the Aim of BareFoot Parade?

1. To project the beauty and Pride of African Wears and culture

2. To raise awareness of the dangers of plastic wastes on the environment. This will be depicted by  a well curated performance art as part of the walk.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Anybody regardless of age, race, gender and religious inclination. 

WHEN WILL THIS TAKE PLACE?
