TTU Signs MoU with CIFIA-Ghana to Enhance Professional Dev’t

Takoradi Technical University, TTU, through its Faculty of Business Studies, has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with the Chartered Institute of Financial Investment Analysts-Ghana, CIFIA-Ghana.  The MoU is to provide professional training and certification opportunities for both staff and students pursuing accounting, banking, and finance-related programmes. The Vice Chancellor of TTU, Rev. Prof. John Frank Eshun, expressed his support for the partnership, stating how it falls within the University’s mandate.  "I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to Takoradi Technical University. As you are aware, our mandate requires us to collaborate with professional bodies to help our students build capacity. HON. EBI BRIGHT REPORTS TO WORK AT TMA.

  Hon. Ebi Bright, the newly appointed Mayor of Tema Metropolitan Assembly(TMA) has hit the ground running by reporting to work today Monday 12th May, 2025. The Mayor started her day, by holding a brief meeting with the Metropolitan Coordinating Director, Mr. John Nana Owu, after which she toured some key Departments and Units within the Central Administration.  Driven by her passion for the welfare of children, women and the marginalised, the Mayor extended her tour to the TMA Day Care Center as well as the Health Facility at Community Centre.  Other Departments visited were the Works Department, Physical Planning Department, Environmental and  Procurement Unit. Hon.Bright ended her tour at the Official Residence of the Assembly, which was rather in a very deplorable state. Joseph Kwame Addison, popularly known as KillBeatz, is a Ghanaian music producer and sound engineer. He is a member of music group R2bees and is also the CEO of Legacy Life Entertainment, which has signed the Ghanaian musician King Promise KillBeatz started playing instruments for his church before he ventured into secular music. He started as a rapper and later switched to music production. He got the name KillBeatz from Ghanaian rapper Omar Sterling (Paedae) of R2Bees. He was helped by Ghanaian music producer Kaywa at the early stage of his career.
