Power Goes Back To the North in 2024.

Power Goes Back To the North in 2024. After the Presidency of Hila Liman from the North, the Power of this country had stayed in the South of Ghana especially the Middle belt for a long time till Ex President Mahama also got the opportunity to become President. Power comes with Development, meaning Power gives you the opportunity to at least develop where you also come from. The North for a long time has lacked the needed development and attention it deserves and I believe 2024 is the appointed time to see Tamale and its environs properly developed in terms of infrastructure and I hope our brothers up North will Seize the opportunity by reducing their tribal wars and see proper development on their vast and beautiful savanna land. Power comes from God and he has a way of giving it out at the appointed time. So instead of complaining about Nana constructing his Kyebi roads and providing WiFi etc for his region it is also time for you to see to the development of your region with infrast...

Curatorial Statement on Art ExhibitionThe Beautiful Nonsense

Curatorial Statement on Art ExhibitionThe Beautiful Nonsense "The Beautiful Nonsense" draws its inspiration from Ernest Temple Thurston's 1909 best-selling novel, "The City of Beautiful Nonsense." This title, in a curious twist of fate, has become synonymous with Cape Coast, Ghana's first capital, a city steeped in rich historical and cultural heritage, often lovingly referred to as "the town of beautiful nonsense."  Thurston's novel, "The City of Beautiful Nonsense," critically dissects the shallowness and pretensions of the artistic and cultural world, shedding light on the stark contrast between appearances and substance. This exhibition unabashedly leans on Thurston's literary work, curating a captivating journey into the realm of paradoxes and playful contradictions.  Through a carefully selected array of artworks, these exhibits uncover the intrinsic beauty concealed within seemingly nonsensical mediums, often composed of d...

‘The Batu Project: Adam the First’ Teaser Turns Ghana Into an Alien Landscape BY AARON COUCH O  O CTOBER 31, 2023 12:59PM The feature used very little green screen, but instead relied on the country's landscapes as its most important visual effect. Filmmaker M Sayibu on the set of 'The Batu Project: Adam the First' COURTESY OF THEOPHILUS ASAMOAH YEBOAH Filmmaker M Sayibu didn’t have much money to spend on his upcoming sci-fi feature The Batu Project: Adam the first  but he did have the sweeping vistas of Ghana at his disposal. The film was largely shot over 30 days in Sayibu’s native country, with the small salt mining town of Sege serving as one of its key locations, standing in for an alien planet. “There was nothing there. You are not in Ghana or on Earth anymore,” Sayibu recalls of driving outside the village to the salt flats. Adam the First takes place after nuclear war on Earth renders it largely uninhabitable. An African Federation known as the Council of 9 sends...

Bleaking Future to a Certified Lawyer: Profile of Lawyer Kwadwo Ofori Dankwah will amaze You Growing up in a broken home was not an easy or exciting journey. You visit friends and see vividly how they are happy with their parents and playing around with them. Growing up in a broken home was not an easy or exciting journey.  You visit friends and see vividly how they are happy with their parents and playing around with them. Indeed, that alone made me realise the future is indeed bleak, and to achieve my future goals, I vanished as no one was ready to hear me out. I never had a situation where my parents would ask, “What do you want to become when you grow up?” for me to even have my wishes and dreams heard. However, I did not relent but soldiered on in life. I had to fend for myself by indulging in all kinds of child labour. Pushing trucks to fetch water for people, following friends to carry loads (goods) from trucks, and taking peanuts to support and survive with them. I s...

How well are we Protecting our PRIMARY MARKET?

How well are we Protecting our PRIMARY MARKET? Witten by : Mr. Enock Agyepong                       CEO of Speech Production  The reality is that we are in a digital world where Music today is basically assessed via our phones. Fact is, these digital platforms are being controlled or manipulated by humans with interest who makes us see & listen to what they want us to. Playlisting is key, and just like radio promo, it's also being influenced as well. Beyond this convo which you can basically do little about there is what we call the PRIMARY MARKET where every country can do a lot about. Some countries have activated policies to protect their Primary Market whiles others have opened their anus for every Tom Dick and Harry to pass through and take full advantage of. Today, Ghanaian event organizers in December spend about 3.5million dollars on foreign Artists whiles denying our own local Artists venues to perform....
